The studio

Carobyte is an independent development studio that builds and runs its own products and helps others do the same. Every project in this portfolio is live on the open web, designed, coded and maintained in-house.
We like small teams, short feedback loops and software that stays fast years after launch. Whether it's a news platform, a paid tool or a multiplayer game, we handle the whole stack: product thinking, interface design, back-end, hosting and growth.
The name comes from the carob seed. Traders once used carob seeds to weigh gold, which is where the word carat comes from. Add a byte and you have what we make: small pieces of software with real value.
